Jackie Murphy, Register of Deeds was elected August 2, 2018. Prior to taking office on September 1st, she served in the Property Assessors Office and the Register of Deeds Office as a Deputy since 2007.

Serving Wilson County is a blessing and an honor that I do not take lightly. Our office and staff provide excellent customer service and a professionalism that the citizens deserve.

The Register of Deeds holds records from 1796 to present. Our primary function is to record and preserve records of instrument required and or allowed by law to be filed or recorded.

All of the staff are trained to record documents and can help any customer with their questions related to property as required for this office.
